Worksite Management
Every day on construction and maintenance sites brings change. Sites evolve, subcontractors come and go, and regulations keep getting tighter. But site supervisors still need a real-time view of who’s on site, whether certifications are current and which notifications have been filed. That’s exactly what Kiho’s Worksite Management module is built for.
With Kiho, managing worksites isn’t about chasing spreadsheets or sorting through scattered forms. It’s one clear dashboard with all the essential information—live, transparent and automatic.
And a “worksite” doesn’t just mean concrete dust or excavators. It could be an office, a street project, a forestry site, a factory or even an airport. Wherever fieldwork is happening, you need accurate, up-to-date details on who’s working, where and when. We can help.

One Kiho with All Your Worksite’s Essential Data
Worksite attendance is captured at login: employees choose whether they’re working on-site or remotely and select their location. That data updates instantly in the site overview and automatically generates any required employee declarations, such as those needed for the tax authority.
In Kiho, Valtti Card authentication can be linked directly to user profiles. New workers, including subcontractors, can be added straight from their Valtti Card data, cutting out admin. Safety, transparency and compliance reporting become straightforward.
The Worksite Management module also gives you a visual map view of all active sites, so every location is shown in one place. This helps supervisors respond quickly and see exactly how people and resources are spread across the field.
How Kiho’s Worksite Management Module Works in Practice
1.
Real-time attendance with one login
Employees log into Kiho and select their active worksite. Their status then appears instantly in the site overview, so supervisors always know who’s on site—no phone calls or manual lists required.
Example: The safety officer checks Kiho during the morning briefing to see exactly who is on the worksite. All presence data updates automatically, no manual input needed.
2.
User creation & identification via Valtti Card
When an employee or subcontractor scans their Valtti Card, Kiho pulls in their card data to create or match a user profile. If you’re using a site terminal and the person isn’t yet in Kiho, the system auto-creates their profile—complete with the details needed for tax-authority employee reporting.
Example: A subcontractor arrives at a new worksite, taps in with their Valtti Card, and Kiho instantly generates their user record (including tax ID and employer info) and logs them on site.
3.
Worksite visualization on a map
All active worksites display on a map, giving supervisors a clear geographic overview and helping them allocate resources where they’re needed most.
Example: The project manager spots that one site is understaffed and can quickly reassign a worker from another location—no delays, no guesswork.
4.
Automatic employee notifications to the tax authority
Kiho compiles all site attendance and employee details into the required declaration format and can submit it directly to the tax authority—no separate reports or manual data wrangling.
Example: Every day brings different workers from various subcontractors. Instead of piecing together attendance logs and filing reports, Kiho produces a site-specific employee declaration ready to send straight to the tax authority.
Optimize On-Site Time Tracking Efficiency with the Worksite Terminal
Kiho’s Worksite Terminal is built for fast, seamless time entry in any environment—whether on a construction site, in a warehouse, at a service station or in an office. Using NFC tokens or the widely-adopted Valtti Card, employees can clock in and out without a separate app.
Implementing the terminal makes time tracking quick and error-proof—especially valuable for subcontractors and other site stakeholders. It speeds up entry processes and guarantees accuracy. A built-in register table even pre-selects the active site and payroll code, so those fields populate automatically with each entry.
Kiho’s Worksite Terminal boosts site efficiency, cuts administrative overhead and saves you precious time.
