Tactical Map
The Kiho Tactical Map is a powerful solution designed to improve the profitability of site-specific operations.
Kiho’s custom-developed area-based work management system is ideal for recurring tasks such as property maintenance, winter upkeep, and green space care. It enables real-time monitoring, making it easier to instruct, track, optimize, and streamline work. Both supervisors and field staff can clearly view the current status of all tasks on-site.
This module empowers real-time, efficient work management while streamlining communication between employees—making information sharing fast and seamless.

Efficient Work Management Made Visual
The Tactical Map provides a highly effective interface for managing tasks geographically and maximizing operational efficiency.
All active areas are clearly displayed to both field employees and supervisors on the map view. Each site is color-coded by task status:
- Red = work not started
- Yellow = additional tasks needed
- Green = task completed
Every area can be assigned site-specific work instructions, which is especially valuable in organizations where staff roles or workers frequently change. These instructions help transfer essential knowledge between employees effortlessly.
In the same view, workers can also flag post-visit needs—e.g., if a yard has been plowed but still needs sanding, the system allows immediate logging of this follow-up task. The update appears instantly to the rest of the team.

Tailored Views for Every Role
Both employees and supervisors have role-specific work management views designed with user-centric logic.
- Employees see only the information relevant to their tasks—keeping the interface clean and focused.
- Supervisors get real-time field visibility, enabling them to assign end-of-day tasks efficiently to those finishing early.
The system also continuously gathers data—such as kilometers driven, driving behavior, and task durations. This information is used to generate visual reports, providing the foundation for data-driven decisions and performance optimization.

How work management with the Kiho Tactical Map works
1.
Preparing the map and marking areas
The supervisor marks the areas to be handled on the map, adds phase-specific instructions, and assigns desired color codes to each stage of the work. Everything marked becomes immediately visible to the worker in Kiho.
2.
Sending workers to the field and using Kiho
In the mobile app, the map automatically follows the driver’s route and guides the work. Upon arriving at a target area, a task card opens for the driver, where action needs are defined and the status of the work phase is selected.
3.
Confirm and move to the next area
Once the area is completed, the driver marks it as done or waiting for the next work phase. The area’s color changes on the map accordingly, giving immediate status updates to others and to the supervisor. The driver can also leave a message for the area.
4.
Remembers even the smallest tasks and enables optimization
The automatically updated map view prevents costly omissions and enables field performance optimization based on real-time data.

Kiho is a powerful tool to enhance site-specific task profitability.
By enabling both supervisors and employees to monitor tasks in real time, companies can optimize resource allocation, minimize idle time and unnecessary driving, and ensure tasks are done right the first time. Clear instructions and live tracking significantly improve efficiency and accountability.
Need to log a follow-up task? It can be marked immediately on-site—no need to wait until returning to base. This eliminates missed steps and ensures timely task completion.
