KihoAPI
KihoAPI makes real-time, two-way data transfer possible between Kiho and your other systems. Whether it’s work time entries, equipment data, tasks, or project numbers, KihoAPI lets information flow smoothly and accurately—no more manual handling or duplicate inputs.
This open interface supports customised integrations based on your company’s specific needs, so Kiho fits naturally into your existing digital ecosystem without extra fuss.

Why should you implement KihoAPI?
When processes, systems and workflows are seamlessly integrated, the result is a data-driven and efficient daily life. KihoAPI gives you the freedom to use Kiho data where you need it most – and exactly how you want it.
How the Module Works in Practice
1.
Connect Kiho data to your own system
Through the API, you can retrieve or send data to the Kiho system—covering users, work times, tasks, equipment, maintenance, locations, products, waybills, and much more.
Example: A company has its own customer portal and wants to display real-time equipment locations. With KihoAPI, data is pulled directly from Kiho and shown in the portal without separate logins or interface translators.
2.
Build your own interface or extend an existing one
KihoAPI is designed with developers in mind: it’s scalable and can be used however you want. Whether it’s for a mobile app, Power BI report, or production control system.
Example: A customer company builds its own work management dashboard combining data from multiple systems. Kiho’s fleet and task data is brought into the view via KihoAPI, so users don’t have to leave the interface they’re familiar with.
3.
Create automations and processes to fit your needs
KihoAPI allows for fully automated workflows: when a task is recorded in the field, it can automatically trigger a follow-up process in another system.
Example: When a user completes a task in Kiho’s mobile app, the API sends that information directly to the company’s ERP system, which updates the project status and sends an automatic notification to the customer confirming the work is completed.
4.
Easy onboarding and support
The API is straightforward to implement. Documentation and examples are available at https://developers.kiho.fi/api/, and Kiho customer support assists with account creation and settings if required.
Example: A software partner wants to develop a Kiho integration for their customer. They activate the API, create client credentials, and within a couple of days set up a test connection so the customer can view Kiho data in their own environment.
